You may have heard that there is  a proposed new Greenville City Park.  In anticipation of the park there have been some changes along the trail in the West End and more are planned. A five-acre parcel of land at 25 Peden St. is now home to a 13,000-square-foot Swamp Rabbit Cross Fit facility and 5,000-square-foot bike store, Free Hub bicycles. The site inlcudes a message therapy space, a yoga studio, a restaurant/cafe, and an event venue space.

The building used to house a used furniture store, but big changes are in the works. Owner William Timmons calls the plans an "adult playground". He, along with business partner Krish Pate,l are creating Soul Yoga, which will feature different types of yoga in the 5000 sq. ft space.

“It will be a place for wellness to your mind, body and soul,” said Patel. “A destination where it can be a place of Zen or be a place of challenge and pushing limits to the exercise of your body.”

A little later this year, the two expect to open a new restaurant/café in the building. The 5,000-square-foot space is already being used as an event venue and will continue, sharing space with the new restaurant. There will be a large patio featuring beer/wine, along with water features and fire pits. Timmons hopes to buld condos as well after the park is built.
