Newcomers to Greenville, as well as those who have been in the area for a while, may not be aware of how diverse the Upstate is.  That's where Upstate International comes in, hosting a month's worth of events promoting and highlighting the diverse cultures of Greenville and the surrounding areas.

There are events for children and adults, from films to coffee chats, to parades, to cooking, and a whole lot more. I think I will be attending this one :Image title"Join the Daughters of the British Empire for an afternoon of fun, trivia, antique china and afternoon tea. Post Edwardian (early 1900s) costume welcome. Call 268-5955 to register." Seems like a must for "Downton Abbey" fans.

March 8 is the St. Patrick's Day parade, starting at 1:30 on Main St. It is organized by The Ancient Order of the Hibernians.
