If you are a veteran, or an unmarried spouse of a veteran who dies while in service you may be eligible for a VA loan for your home purchase. Are you looking for a loan with no money down? If you are eligible and if the home you are seeking to buy meets the requirements a VA loan could be a great option for you.   http://www.realtor.com/advice/4-signs-great-va-loan-candidate/

VA loans can only used for the purchase of a primary residence, and not only require zero down-payment, but there is no PMI! (private mortgage insurance). The home must also be in sound condition, and salable.

For complete information please visit the Department of Veterans' Affairs Website:  http://www.benefits.va.gov/homeloans/.

For those who qualify, a VA loan can be a great option!
